		<title>The Exotic Beauty of African Violets</title>
		<link>http://www.groovygardening.com/gardening-information/gardening-tips/the-exotic-beauty-of-african-violets.html</link>
		<description>
It is strange how crazy people get about flowers. Up to a year ago, I
couldn&amp;#39;t care less about them. You see, I have always had what I would
call a brown thumb. By that I mean that I cannot make anything grow.
All I could do is make plants die.

I was never all that depressed about my amazing ability to kill plants.
I always took it as just the way things were. Getting my first African
Violet, however, changed all of that.

		<title>Artificial Flowers - A Lovely Alternative</title>
		<link>http://www.groovygardening.com/gardening-information/gardening-tips/artificial-flowers---a-lovely-alternative.html</link>
		<description>
As much as I love flowers, they don&amp;#39;t stand a chance in my house. I
might receive fresh flowers every so often and they wither and die in
the same time period that anyone&amp;#39;s would.

But, if you give me a potted plant or flower for my house, it will be
beyond hope within a month. I have a problem with remembering to water
them. The unfortunate part is that I love flowers.

		<title>Getting the Most from Garden Centers</title>
		<link>http://www.groovygardening.com/gardening-information/gardening-tips/getting-the-most-from-garden-centers.html</link>
		<description>
I like going to nurseries to shop for my garden every spring, but since the emergence of garden centers in practically every store I regularly shop in, I hardly visit the nursery anymore.

Why pay fifty dollars for a new lilac bush at a fancy greenhouse when I can buy one at Home Depot for only twenty-five bucks?

		<title>A Brief Overview of the Coffee Plant</title>
		<link>http://www.groovygardening.com/gardening-information/gardening-tips/a-brief-overview-of-the-coffee-plant.html</link>
		<description>
When we fix our morning cup of Joe, we seldom, if ever, ponder the
origin of the delicious brew. We all know it&amp;#39;s an expensive but, for
most, a necessary luxury, which we pick up at the grocery in bags or
cans.

Do you know what the coffee plant looks like? Do you imagine
coffee beans bristling off the branches? Just how does it end up as the
tasty beverage we all love? The story of the coffee plant is
interesting indeed.

		<title>The Simple Joys of Screened In Porches</title>
		<link>http://www.groovygardening.com/gardening-information/gardening-tips/the-simple-joys-of-screened-in-porches.html</link>
		<description>
One of the most pleasant activities I enjoy in the summer is sitting
out on my porch or in my backyard as the sun sets. By this time, the
temperature has cooled down, but the air is still warm.

This is the perfect time to enjoy being outside without feeling like I
am burning up. The downfall of this, however, is the amount of
mosquitoes and bugs that hang out in my yard.
